  • 01 Is drone cleaning safe for tile and shingle roofs?

Yes. The drone never touches the roof. Deionized water is sprayed from above the panel plane, so there's no walking, scrubbing, or pressure on the tile or shingles — eliminating the most common cause of post-cleaning roof leaks.

  • 02 Why deionized water? Do you use detergents?

Deionized (DI) water is stripped of minerals, so it lifts dirt and dries spot-free without leaving residue. We don't use detergents — they leave a film that attracts dust and can void some module warranties.

  • 03 How often should I clean my solar panels?

Most residential systems benefit from a clean every 6 – 12 months. Commercial and utility arrays in dusty environments (CV, IE, Phoenix metro) typically run on a quarterly cadence. We'll model it for your site in the quote.

  • 04 How much energy will I actually recover?

Soiling losses commonly run 8 – 20% before a clean. The Recovery Estimator on our homepage gives a range based on panel count, soiling level, and cadence. Expect the gain to show up within 30 – 45 days of monitoring data.

  • 05 What's the pricing?

Residential starts at $150 (up to 20 panels), then $7.50 per panel beyond. Commercial and utility are quoted by site and MW. There are no roof-access fees, lift fees, or surprise charges — what you're quoted is what you pay.

  • 06 How long does a typical job take?

A standard residential array (24 – 40 panels) is on/off site in under an hour. A 1 MW commercial roof typically runs 2 – 4 hours. Utility-scale missions are planned in MW-blocks and sequenced around your production schedule.

  • 07 Are you insured and certified?

Yes. All pilots are FAA Part 107 certified. We carry $2M general liability + drone-specific aviation coverage. COI is available on request and is provided up-front for all commercial and utility engagements.

  • 08 What areas do you serve?

Primary coverage is CA, AZ, NV, and UT — including the Coachella Valley, Inland Empire, LA Basin, Phoenix metro, Las Vegas, and the Salt Lake corridor. We mobilize beyond that for utility-scale work.

  • 09 What happens if the weather turns?

We don't fly in rain, sustained winds above 25 mph, or icing conditions. If we have to reschedule, you're not charged for the missed slot and you keep your place in queue.

  • 10 Will my system be offline during the clean?

No. The drone passes above the array without contacting any electrical components. Your system keeps producing throughout the service window.
